Hi,
I have been accepted by a Canadian university (University of Toronto) for a Masters program. I have two questions while applying for visa:
1. My parents live in Islamabad, but I have a brother who lives in Canada and is a citizen there. I do not have any other sibling. Can they use my brother being a citizen there as a reason for stating insufficient ties to Pakistan?
2. I was denied a temporary resident visa (visit visa) in 2007. Does that make it harder for my application to get accepted now?
Any ideas on how I can prove sufficient ties?
