only if done through EE stream. Not normal PNP stream.

I have submitted my application to the Nova Scotia PNP via mail. How do I know if I am nominated? How do I follow up? There is no reference number for my application! Does anyone have any experience with this program?

Hello,

Can U share the time lines like when you submitted your application and when it reached their office.

At present, Nova Scotia is issuing AOR (Unique number) for the ap[plications that reached them on Jan 15th 2015. After getting the AOR then they will issue Nomination. The whole process may take apprx. 3-6 months.

Also there is a topic running here "NOVA SCOTIA Provincial Nominee Program January 2015". Please look into this for further clarifications.

Hope this helps... :) :)

I have only submitted my application two weeks ago! lol. So how do you know that your application has been received? I mean, how do they communicate that to you? Email?

The order or priority would be "first in first serve basis". Once thry open your application package, and if they feel that all the basic details are mentioned then they will issue AOR and communicate the same by e-mail.

In your case, at this point you have to relay on the courier POF (proof of delivery) and wait for your turn.

Hello,
I have some concerns in regards to my situation.
I am a bc pnp nominee and my federal file (NON EXPRESS ENTRY) has been submitted and i have been already been asked to submit landing fees. My work permit expired on sep. 2017 and i applied one month ahead of expiration however it got rejected as i missed paying $100.00 fees.
I got migration consultant to ile restoration application where he made me pay $200.00 (restoration application)+ $155.00 (work permit application) +$100.00 ((open work permit fees)
My work permit before was open work permit and had no restrictions on my permit or nomination certificate.

Do u think my lawyer has done right thing as lately i am hearing about this compliance fees. Kindly help any type of suggestions/input are helpful as very stressed right now and dont know what to do

Hi guys;

I need some help or recommendations from you. I have an LMIA from a job position in Alberta, now since over a year. Now a company from Ontario sent me a very good job offer and I want to switch. I applied also directly for the OINP and I received an invitation. After going through the application process I saw that they need also a form filled out from the employer.

Here are all my questions...

1. Can i apply with my Alberta LMIA and my ontario job offer letter for the international foreign worker stream?

2. Do i need to pay for the OINP or is it a sponsorship form the employer?

3. Why they are asking in the form for the employer intensive about the recruitment process?

Thanks for all your help

Thanks for all your help

1) You are applying through the Ontario program so you would apply based on your job offer in Ontario.
2) You pay the application fees
3) This is mandatory for your employer in Ontario to provide unless they have already obtained an approved LMIA or you already hold a valid work permit to work in Ontario.

First thanks for your quick answers.

Regarding 3.) So far as I know my employer didn't made any recruitment process or even had ever hired a foreign worker. So beside the requested form, he needs also to show in the form that he tried to hire and fill the position with a Canadian employee?

or can he fill out the form with all the company informations and that is it?

No, he can't just fill out the form with the company information and that's it. It is a requirement for the employer to show reasonable recruitment efforts. If your employer won't do this, it's going to be a waste of your money to pay the application fees and go ahead with the application.

Scylla,

thank you so much for your answers. That helps me a lot to do my correct decision.

So I think it will be then the best way to stay with my current LMIA approved position and apply there for the Alberta Foreign Worker Stream, correct?

I can't advise you which program to apply through. That is up to you. All I am saying above is that you must provide the required documents (regardless of which program you apply for).
