I'm worried about my OINP nomination expiring in a month as it is printed on the nomination certificate that I should submit a complete application for Permanent Residence in order to be able to make use of the nomination. Is an application deemed complete only after all additional documents are submitted? In other words, are additional documents considered in assessing the completeness of a submitted application?

I had submitted my PR application last month and it is still in the initial stage. IRCC has asked me to provide some additional documents which I'm trying to obtain but involves legal proceedings and is often time consuming.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is it likely that the nomination validity will be extended if we request the province for an extension? Please shared your thoughts.

Cic consider documents on the basis of documents delivery date a Sydney. In the processing period they don't cancel it due to nomination expiry because the delay from their side. On the other side, u can't apply for nomination extension without nomination expired. And for exyension, u wouldn't have to attach cic documents with form to show genuine reason for extension.

Thanks for the reply.

Did I mean to say that I have to attach the documents when I write to the province?
Do you know of anyone who has asked/got an extension?

I am the victim, I am SINP Nominated. CIC has returned back my Paper Application due to IELTS expiry which I have got on 20 Sept. My Nomination is going to expire on 30 November. I applied to SINP for extension on appropriate form enclosing CIC letter. SINP refused to extend and replied that I have to apply for extension only after 30th November, when my Nomination will expire.

I think this is not the matter to worry. This delay from CIC process. They specially mentioned in my Paper Application back note that "Your Nomination certificate is valid up to 30th November. Your resubmit Application should be get delivered before or on 30th November at Sydney. Then everything will OK"

Hello.
I applied for non-express entry PR using pnp on 22-12-2023. My pnp nomination will expire on February 24, 2024. I've heard that if the IRCC opens our PR application after the expiry date, it would be rejected. Is it true?
