I`m a protected person waiting for permanent residence card (I hope than in 3 or 4 month I can get it). This is my situation. My work permit expired on august 21. I stop working with my actual employee. On last July I sent the papers for work permit renewal, but this is taking more than 1 month . I have a new job offer for start on September 16. Of course my SIN number is expired too. What can I do for start in my new job if they are asking me for the SIN card. Do I have to wait until I receive my new work permit for start on my new Job. I can not work with any company, how I can get a salary if I can not working for 2 or 3 months?. (I call immigration and is taking now 150 days for work permit renovation).
