First of all, hello and sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section, I just thought this would be the most appropriate section.

So to keep things short, I've worked for +3000H since 2018 at a electronics repair workshop, 60h/week, fully paid, but cause my country loves to over-complicate any procedure and thanks to the current corona crisis, I can't get any paperwork done. Id like to get a proof of work experience to submit with my EE, but I don't know what I can provide as a proof, I've been paid in hard cash, and I don't have any receipt.

Been reading online, about asking my previous employer to sign a letter explaining my job, what I've done, and for how long I've been working. Sounds easy enough, my previous job ended on good terms and I'm still in contact with my ex-employer so it should be sorted quickly.

Got couple of questions tho.
- What type of information my ex-employer needs to mention.
- When I get the letter, do I just scan it as a PDF for my EE profile?
- I saw some sample documents online, can I just send it to my ex-employer and ask him to fill it, would that work?
- Must the letter include my salary? (I come from a not so good of a country, I'm afraid the previous salary might effect any future job I go for)
- Final question, how does the receiving end confirm the information written on the letter? (Its fine if they just contact my ex-employer, but he'll need a translator as he can't speak English)

Any other helpful information will be quite appreciated, thank you.

The work experience letter must include (yes) your salary, your start date and end date, a detailed description of your duties.
You upload the letter as a pdf in the designated upload slot.

Thank you for the reply. Another question if you don't mind; during my work I've worked two jobs under the same employer, the first year was repairing electronics, and the second was developing websites and web apps, and that's two different NOC.
I heard I can only get experience for the NOC that Im applying for in the Atlantic PNP, I am not sure of the credibility of this information, if you can gimme some insights.
Also, how does the the immigration facility confirm that the letter provided is genuine, do they just contact my ex-employer? how do I make sure the process goes smoothly. My country is quite complicated, and people can only speak one language (arabic) and I fear things might go horribly wrong.
