Hello all,

I am currently working as a registered practical nurse [NOC3233] and in the pool of EE under CEC.

As you might know that nursing is kinda common with shift work.... I have two part-time jobs in 2 long term care at present. One is regular Part-time 30 hours biweekly and the other one has flexible schedule with no fixed hours
However, mostly I worked more than 30 hours per week in combination of these two jobs as there are opportunities of picking up extra shifts.

How can I put them into my EE work experience??? because CIC asked question like "how many hours you worked per week", should I put 15 hours per week on each job????

My pay stubs are both on biweekly basis by the way. Also having trouble when providing my employer reference letters as the hours I worked for each job per week were all different in the past year....

Please help......

We need to plug information corresponding to the reference letters. CIC asks for number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits. You need to mention the following in your reference letters:

1. Hours per week: This one will be tricky since you have picked up extra shifts.
Option 1: Is there any average no. of additional shift you pick in a month/week? You will need to make an assumption here which your employer will be comfortable signing.
Option 2: Another option is that you mention a line stating Person X works a min of y hrs and max of z hrs every week depending on extra shifts
2. CIC asks for annual salary. You wont need pay slips if you have them on reference letters. Again here it depends which option you select above
Option 1: If you have a consensus on avg no. of hours per week this will be straight forward
Option 2: If you select Option 2 then you say Person X on average earns "a" amount depending on additional shifts

To be honest I am not 100% sure on this but I would have gone with Option 1.
Good luck!!

Thank you very much! I will go by the option 1 and gonna wait for my employer response... Hope everything is ok..
