proof of settlement fund for spouse sponsorship when landing

HI,
i will soon be getting my passport back, and as i read on differnt forum that the spouse need not to show proof of settlement fund on landing as usually any other immigrant need to do. i would like to get a confirmation from the seniors and other friends on this site which already land who can shares their experiences with me.
and if there is any cic site mentioning that spousal spouse need not too prove that fund. thanks

The immigration agent will be assuming the new immigrant will be going to stay with his or her spouse, therefore no need to show any money.

I don't think you will find any forum where people talk about this since there is no requirement to show funds when landing.

If you read the information on the CIC site you will see that it makes no mention of showing funds at landing for those immigrating through spousal sponsorship.

Yes - that would apply to FSW. Not spousal sponsorship.

as my spouse and i are living outside canada, i will be landing without her becasue she got some obligation and cannot land together, will that cause any problem when i land??
