A little back story. My husband and I have been married 5 years and have 2 children, we have lived together this whole time and we are now completing the inland sponsorship papers , my question is my husband is the person on the lease , and I am not on our lease , we have lived here 3 years, I'm not sure if I am required to provide a lease or not for evidence , and if we do have to is it a problem I'm not on the lease? And what kind of evidence is needed to prove our marriage is genuine?

If you are married, the lease is not a big deal. It's more important for common-law partners who need to show adequate proof that they have lived together for at least 1 year.
We applied outland and for evidence of a genuine marriage, we submitted:
- relationship story
- wedding photos, photos of us together and with family, friends doing different things
- change of beneficiary on RRSP account, pension plans, insurance, etc
- text messages, emails, phone call logs, etc between us and also with our in-laws
- receipts of our reception hall rental, food, drinks, etc

I don't remember the other things we included but others could chime in.

The only big evidence I have is our story of how we met married etc pictures of our wedding , of us and pictures of our children from the hospital pictures of them with there dad (my husband) pictures of all if us..and I have a few letters from family and friends,

Thats what I did too. we did not send lease paper or joint account balance ( we didn't have anyway)
I sent pics of me and my daughter in delivery room, family photo before and after baby etc.
Photocopied of our flight tickets (my daughter's too)

Since you have been married for long and have kids, you would have enough pics to support your relationship.
