Proof of relationship - Express entry CEC

Hey guys i have a Question about my express entry under CEC category.

So in august 2018 i applied for express entry under canadian experience class. I got the ITA and submited all the documents. it as been 6 months now and i just realized something.

At the time i applied i put my aunt (moms cousin as a Relative in canada with PR) and uploaded my birth certificate in the proof of relationship in the checklist. For this i got 15 points on my SCORE.

6 months later i am just realizing that My aunt will not qualify as a relitive as she is not a blood Sibling to my MOM. my application is at the point where they have asked for background check form my home country and are reviewing it from the last 3 months. NO UPDATES SINCE NOVEMBER 2018!!!

I dont know if i Can correct this Mistake. IS it to late? Will i get Rejected? and If possible to correct how do i do it?

PLEASE HELP MEEE!!!!! I AM STRESSINGGGGGGGG!!!!

Whether you get rejected or not depends as to whether your score would fall below the cutoff score of the ITA you received without those 15 points. Raise a CSE to inform IRCC of your mistake.

FYI - even if she had been a blood sibling to your mother, you still wouldn't have qualified for the CRS points. Only siblings get you points.
