When we submit application for PR Card renewal, is there any acknowledgement / confirmation of application received given by CIC? It takes few months before the application status can be tracked online. Is there any other way to prove (except for fee receipt) that I have submitted my application for PR renewal and its in process?
I have submitted my application for PR renewal very recently and need to travel to US, I will be driving back into Canada and not sure whether I would be allowed in as I don't have any proof to show that my PR renewal is in process, except for the online payment receipt.
