I've collected tons of evidence and wrote detailed letters for my end of the application. I'm filling out my guy's paperwork because he doesn't have a printer and they are asking him to submit a paper proving that our relationship is legit. Does that mean that we need two copies of everything (pictures, artifacts, etc) for the sponsor's application and the applicant's application? Or will one copy of everything be good enough? Or does he just need to write a narrative of our relationship from his point of view? Sorry for all the questions!

u need 1 copy of everything. and he has to write about ur relationship from his point of view.

If you're applying outland, don't let the two document checklists confuse you. Use the applicant's checklist to pull together all of the info you need, and then the sponsor's checklist is meant to help the sponsor assemble the entire package - so it duplicates some of what's already listed in the applicant's checklist, including the need for supporting documentation/evidence. The evidence that you submit, you submit together. The whole application goes to them in one package, so there is no need to duplicate your supporting documentation. He does need to respond for IMM5540, in his own words, to the opportunity to provide on a separate piece of paper, additional details of your relationship that would help prove it is genuine and continuing; as do you on Form IMM5490.

Perfect! Thanks for all the answers.. sorry about all the questions, just want to get it all right!
