hi I have question regarding to our Citizenship card.

I remember when I enter the country in early 90s, they will issue us a Citizenship card, providing the name at the back will be the original name from our origin country, and the front will be the name we want to use in Canada.

I have my English name in front, and my chinese name at the back of the Canadian Citizenship card.

It was all good until now, where USA required the proof of my name change. (I work and resided in USA due to work). They said the Canadian citizenship card is not an official name change document. They need official civil document, or court decree that substantiates the name change.

Do you know where I can get proof of this "name change"?

Thanks in advance.
