Hi all.

I've receive an ITA recently under CEC. I have work experience in India and Canada as well and they both come under NOC A and NOC B. My Canadian work includes one job (NOC B) for 4 months and the other job (NOC B) is currently ongoing. I was asked to submit the "Proof of Means of Financial Support" when it is not required for CEC. But when filling the application I mentioned $ 13,000 when asked for available funds.

Should I need to show the proof of funds for the mentioned amount or is it sufficient to just provide a financial statement as I already have a job offer in Canada and currently working?

Please help.

No, you only have to upload a letter stating that you are a CEC applicant and thus, no proof of funds are required. You can upload such letter in the POF placeholder.

"Note: You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class.

The system currently asks all applicants to provide a proof of funds document. If you don’t need to provide proof of funds, you must upload a letter explaining either that you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, or that you have a valid job offer."
