Proof of means of financial support ?

Hello, For the canadian experiene class, do we need to provided a proof of financial supports ? I have a a letter from my bank stating how much money I have in my account and my credit cards . but it doesn't show it over the last 6 months.
Is that enough ?

I think I read somewhere that for CEC you do not need to provide POF.
