What is the proof of marriage for indians? The registrar certificate is enough? If they are Muslims do they need any other certificate from religious heads or a registrar certificate would be sufficient? Anyone please shed some info. Any muslim who had been through such stage can also be of great help

As long as the marriage certificate(issued during ceremonial marriages, be it hindu or muslims etc.) is in English and signed/stamped by a gazette officer and each of your passports contains the other persons name on it, it should not make a difference
