Hello.

I was wondering if conversations between me and friends talking about my marriage would count as proof for the genuinity of our relationship. Would it be okay to send in things like that?

What else do you have as proof?

Hi are you already married or just planning your wedding? =)

I have our wedding certificate, photos of the wedding with us together and with family, very few photos of us after the wedding and before (my husband isn't much of a photo guy). I have a few letters I wrote to him before our marriage. I also have screenshots I used to take of him when we would video chat on facebook. These screenshots show me talking to him in the corner and also him. (These were also before our marriage, but I could get some from now and even record the video chats now.)

That's pretty much all I have.

Hi in our application we included some of our receipt from our wedding supplier like church, hotel and reception receipt, prenuptial photos(pictorial before our wedding) and wedding photos from preparation in hotel, church and reception. I also included movie tickets and tickets of our travel together... =)

I believe every little bit helps.... on it's own, it's is very little, but as a part of much larger body of proof, I think it is a good idea. My perspective is to submit the very best application you can. It is much harder to convince your VO at an interview (when they have decided that there is reason to believe your relationship might not be genuine) than to have them review your application and be convinced.

it's more than "ok" to submit the extra bits....give them everything you got!!!!

That's what I thought too. I really hope it doesn't get to an interview, but I can see it going there because my husband is not much of a photo person so we don't have much photos. Nor have we taken any vacations together. We got married November last year and since then, it's just been way too busy for both of us to do much of anything.

I have screenshots of him and I talking on video chat on facebook, photos of the wedding of us together and with our family, letters from before our marriage... Pretty much it. I'm going to see if I can get call logs or text messages from my phone company. That would helps lots.

Yes, it is good evidence. Most people might not bother sending in things like this simply because they have lots of other evidence, but if you are worried you don`t have enough, emails/letters/chats with friends where you discuss your spouse are fine.

Perfect, thank you so much.
