Yep...
Hi
Please can you let me know, if a Bank account in accompanying wife's name is OK as a Proof of Funds.
WE have 2 Accounts, One is Joint, and it will be having approx 13000CAD in it, and the other is in her name holding 5000CAD approx. Would this be OK for London Visa office.
We are in the process of re-applying (London Visa Office), just gathering docs, and waiting for IELTS result.
Help will be appreciated. As I cannot find specifically answer regarding London Office.
Thanks

As your wife is included in your application as accompanying member, her bank account is also acceptale as POF.

as a wilson told, ur wife's bank account is also acceptale as POF.

Thank you very much guys. I will update this as well when I apply and get confirmation of acceptance or whatever its called ;D

one question please
I want to know how much money should I have in the bank statement, for permanent resident
Because I have close family in Toronto and he assist me with room and board.

I dont think there are any exception, please read the Guide carefully.

Money has to be YOURS, and, not borrowed. Check this;

If you are applying under Federal Skilled Worker (Category 1) you can have the richest uncle in the world, it doesn't matter, you must still have the appropriate settlement funds (which for 1 person is around CAD $11,000 I can't remember the exact figure), and these funds must belong to you, they cannot be borrowed.

However, if this is a close relative and he is a permanent resident or Canadian citizen then he may be able to sponsor you under the Family Sponsorship class - but then it will be he who must prove adequate funding.
