Hi All,

I know this question has been asked numerous times in this thread but I was not able to find a definitive answer. I apologize if I am asking the same question again.

I am currently saving up money to show as proof of funds, I currently live in the US and the bank which I have my account with will not be able to provide in the format required by the CIC. Will a 6-month bank statement be enough? wherein the 6 months I would be showing the gradually saving up of the funds. Also are gift deeds still a viable option, can I show some of the money (around 25%) through a Gift Deed? Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

hi
nothing wrong in providing 6 months bank statement. All you should consider is at the time of submission of application. you must meet necessary fund requirement.

Most banks in USA would provide you something very close to what CIC needs. Ask for "Verification of deposit".

If you can't get a "verification of deposit" then yes it should be okay

Yes
