Good Day

I wanted to find out, I am self employed, I want to use my current monthly income as proof of funds to support myself and my child whilst I study in Canada.
Will there be any issues with this? I can obtain a letter from my biggest client to confirm my services rendered to his company and payments made by him to me.
I will also include four or six months bank statements.
Will this be sufficient? Or do I need to have the actual $14,000 up front in the account?
I have secured a study loan, but it does not cover the full $14,000 plus tuition.

Thank you,
Regards
Tanya

You need to have the money up front in your account to be approved. You'll want to show a bank balance that covers first year tuition + an additional $15K to cover living and travel expenses for your child. So if your tuition is $14K - you want a bank balance of around $30K.
