Hi all,

i am a new member of this forum. I have a query regarding proof of funds.

I have received AOR from NS and have to submit full application to CHC Islamabad within 120 days. Can I provide property evaluation as proof of fund to CHC Islamabad?

seniors please help, you're valuable suggestions would be very helpful.

No You can not

Proprety evaluations are accepted by London for sure and may be by Mexico but not by Islamabad. You need to show liquid funds in Bank acoount or FD or Time Deposits

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Actually i don't have enough funds to fulfill the funds requirement that's why i want to show property evaluation certificate with 6,000 CAN$ for three person(me, wife and kid). i have one another option to get RF (running finance) from bank. Is it workable?

Is there any possibility, CHC Islamabad could ask the source where i get the funds?

Property evaluation is not an option. Instruction guide also strictly mentions that money should not be loaned. It is tough situation. I am not sure whether CHC tracks source or not let us wait for others to comment but I think it will be really tough for you in absence of funds.

@carefore,
i had the same problem regarding proof of funds,since i too had property ,on my name.but i directly mailed to DELHI chc,and got a reply from them tht property is not considered as PROOF OF FUNDS by them,i guess islamabad has the same kind of rules.fixed deposits are the best bet.
ALL THE BEST.

Hi,
Why don't u take loan agt. property I mean to say don't take clean loan like runing finance.

I have some funds in RRSP's (Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)).
people who are living in canada should be having an idea about this.

can i show my funds in RRSP as proof of funds?
if i can show, do i need to notarize this or not required as it is issued by Canada government?

please advise

POF can be in either cash, TCs, bank a/c statements, FDs/TDs or any other 'liquidable' fund investments. If the RRSP is one such, that too in Canada, it should work just fine.

No, u don't need to notarize it. Just the original current a/c statement of the holding authorities will suffice.

Regards.

Do we need to take the bank statement for last few months or letter from the bank manager stating the account balance on that date will suffice??

@qorax
am not quite sure how canada govt looks at RRSP's, in simple words i can say it is just like Provident Fund (P.F) in India or a retirement savings money anywhere.
we will save our liquid cash in RRSP account and they are not going to use this money in any mutual funds or shares like in India.

So, i am little confused about this. do u know anyone who did samething like this?

BP,
For landing, either the recent [2-3 days old] bank statement or the banker's certificate, both'll do.
