I am hoping to emigrate to Canada with my family but am looking some advise on the whole visa/proof of funds issue.....

Whilst we are saving to get the required amount of money for the Visa requirements, I am curious if this still applies if I have a job offer for full time employment in Canada? I don't have an offer at the minute but if I know that this can help me to get a visa without the required funds then I will put all my efforts into applying for employment.

Should I apply start my visa application now or wait until I have the required amount of funds and a job offer? I have enough points in the online eligibility test.

Any advise would be appreciated!

If you have a full time and permanent job offer in Canada that meets the arranged employment criteria, then you don't need proof of funds.

If you want to apply now (before you have arranged employment), then you need to have proof of funds. If you apply without proof of funds then your application will be automatically refused.
