Proof of funds

Hello All,

I have a concern.

1) Can a third party (brother) guarantee financial guardianship for FSW application as a proof of funds and submit with my application?
2) Does CIC prefer bank statements (current and preceding 3 months) or certification letter from the bank that I have sufficient funding available on my account?

1) - NO
2) - Letter will do. But u need to keep funds later on in bank as they will ask further also

In addition, we are planning to apply as a family. In case that immigration visa has been approved...
Can I enter Canada first (to settle ) and after a month-two my family to join me or we have to enter Canada all at once at the same time?
any opinions?

You can enter first as long as your are the primary applicant.
