My husband and I are in Canada on a Work/Study permit. We will apply for EE after one year of study and work. Question - do we need to show proof of funds even if we have full-time job offers at the time of application? I read somewhere on the website that the requirements for proof of funds change if applicants have a valid job offer. Can someone pls clarify. Thanks

I will have a PGWP, and my husband will be on an open work permit too, by extension when we apply for EE. He already has a NOC O job, and I will get it by the end of the year on my PGWP. Will we need to show proof of funds?

What you have are not considered job offers since you are on open work permits. You would need to get approved LMIAs for these to count as job offers under EE

Your husband is already working in Canada? You guys will be applying under what class? Your situation is not clear.

Please post more details.
