Dear Team,

In my case, the requirement is CAD 15,531.

1. I am planning to show my Term deposit as POF. How old should the opening date be?
2. Will it be a problem if I show CAD 22,000 term deposit? I meant will showing higher value be a problem?
3. For express entry, is Statement for past 6 months required?

- Bank should provide you a letter that these deposits can be en-cashed at any time.
- Higher PoF value is not a problem, on the contrary strengthens your case
- Bank letter is fine, but if you attach bank statements it gives visibility to case officer that your account is in good health

Just one more thing..regarding my first question..i understand i need to get a letter from bank but do u know how old my term deposit should be?

I am not quite certain, but if I think from own personal side I would say at least 6 months old.

Anything more than 2 months old is fine.
