Hi,
My uncle who resides in canada has his mother living with me.Now, I have been taking care of her expences including rent , maid , caretaker , medicines etc. He , instead of sending the expences monthly , was saving up in his account so he could sendme later whenever I needed it. He recently transferred $12000/- which were were saving up throught the years. I was not expecting the score to go down sofast .How do I justify this to the CIC. I have recieved an invite and the transfer was made a month ago. My balance was very low for the last few months so the average balance will be low too.
Does my uncle need to make an affidavit ofsomesort ? Because honestly it is not a gift deed. It is my hard earned money.

Hard earned money or not, The gift deed with transfer record gives you the legal right of that money !

It is not bad idea at all to use this transfer to your advantage and get a gift deed signed from him. This way you have your money back, it also gives you the legal right to use that money , and lastly it is the only way acceptable by CIC in your case !

Good luck

I will suggest you to show this as the debt paid to you by your uncle. Get document from lawyer that the settlement of debt is complete after the funds are transferred to your account.

Think about it properly and make the right choice. Good luck.
