Please anyone, Is the proof of funds based on number of persons accompanying you or the number of family members in your application?

thanks

Number of family members in the application = Number of people that will accompany you

I think you confused between both terms...if you would explain your particular scenario how you are counting both terms ..folks here can help you better.

I have 4 children (2 from my current marriage and 2 from previous) I have to include the 2 from previous marriage as dependents in my application but they will not accompany me to Canada.

So how many do I need proof of funds for 4 or 6

Same case here, only 4 NOT 6 Relax! :-)

4- you have to show funds for family members that accompanying you, you need to show that you have enough money to support your accompanying members during stay of canada before you get establish. This is my understanding,if im wrong, hopfully some one esle will make correction.
