Proof of funds (University category)

Hi
I will be applyingoing for my study permit with following proof of funds
1. Gic = $10000
2. First semester tuition fee
3. Parents Income tax returns (=INR 6lakh)
am i good to go with these ?

No - not enough. You need to show you have enough funds now to cover your tuition for the rest of the first year.

To be on the safer side, show about $2000 as air fare and settling cost on top of GIC plus 1 yr tuition fee. If possible, show provision for next year's tuition as well.
