Proof of funds to be written in IMM 1924 for SDS

Hi all,

In imm1924 form , under tuition fee if 1 year tuition and under funds to stay 10k GIC is mentioned would it suffice when applying for SDS ? Since only these documents are shown as proof of funds , any additional funds mentioned will need proof !

Hi,

The purpose of SDS is to simplify the application process by requiring less documents to submit. The only financial proof you need under SDS is your school receipt for 1yr tuition paid upfront and a GIC for CAD$10,000. You can attach other financial documents but they won’t help much, rather may be a cause for VO to consider your application under regular stream.

I understand that these are the documents to be given. But do you mention the same data( 1 year tuition and 10k cad ) in the form?
Under tuition and Funds for stay.

For me, I only mentioned the GIC as my funds available for my stay, since tuition is already paid and is for the school.
