Hi all,
can I get a gift deed from my mums sister post ITA or it has be only from a family member?within a week?

Gift deed from anyone is OK as far as CIC is concerned but ppl prefer from parents because it saves them from tax implications (at least in India)..

Additionally, safer way to do this you can tell your Aunt to give this money to your mother and then your mother can gift this amount to you by signing gift deed. Worked for my cousin.
