Proof of funds changed on Original website from 11,xxx$ to 12,164. i have only mentioned 12000 in my profile. Should I worry ? Though I have like 15k in my bank account at present.

Please help people. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

If you have submitted your profile before this new update in funds requirement. You should be good.

Why not go to your profile and edit your proof of funds to meet the new requirement? If not, at some point you will receive a letter form cic stating that your profile is no longer eligible. Your signature says you are still waiting for PNP so have yet to submit your EE application?

I am in Ontario human capital priorities stream. I have submitted my documents and waiting for AOR.

I am not sure when the funds amount changed. Do you know where I can find that from ?

You've submitted your application to ontario and not cic. Go to your express entry profile and update the amount to show that it still meets the new requirements.

As for ontario, if they have your bank statements showing that you have more that the new minimum requirements, you should be ok. Also, if you currently work in Ontario, you don't need to meet the minimum savings requirement as long as your yearly income is above the LICO.

Do you qualify for CEC also?

I have already attached my bank statement and I am already well above 12,000$ mark consistently from past 5 months. So that should be okay with Ontario authorities ?

And no I do not qualify for CEC. I have my express entry profile created and I was then presented with Ontario Interest letter so I applied to Ontario PNP.

OP, you must do this or else this will happen:

+1 to you if you can please tell if the amount needs to be changed in just a single place in EE profile ? Or Do I need to make changes to multiple places. ?

I really appreciate your help.

I do not think it makes a difference what you provide in your EE profile if you are FSW Outland. It would have made a difference if you were CEC because IRCC would consider you as FSW if you provided a non-zero value as proof of funds. CEC = $0 and FSW > $12K.

What does matter is that you have sufficient funds post ITA that has not been borrowed and that you've maintained the balance for more than 6 months.

^ It does make a difference, there's a risk of the profile being ineligible if it doesn't meet the LICO for the number of family members in the application for FSW.

Guess I can't earn the very coveted +1 because I don't remember where exactly it is. :)

Well you earned it. This guys keep on changing stuff and making files ineligible explicitly :( Just so sad to watch

IIRC, it's just a single place though. Sorry, it's been a while since I had my profile so I can't remember exactly which portion.
It's a result of the depreciating Canadian dollar, but yeah, you're lucky to have noticed the change before you received your nomination.

I thought Canadian dollar just bounced back. This is just another shit reason to make change and then not even notifying applicants about it. So predictable.
