Me and my husband are planing to apply soon , is it okay to submit my bank statement even though HE is the main applicant? Or do we have to submit his bank statement too.. we would rather not submit his since he freelances and there are many un explained transfers to his account and we wont be able to get an experience leter from the company he’s been freelancing with.

If he is the primary applicant, You will need a reference letter for sure to apply PR for at least 12 months of JOB experience.

To answer your question, Spouse can provide a bank certificate for POF with a consent letter that Husband will have full access to money.
Also, a bank certificate from primary applicant will be required.

Okay perfect. Thanks for answering back so quickly.
Another question though @mr.preetsingh .
My husband’s bank statement will have alot of tranfers since he freelances on the side, will that be an issue?
My bank account will be the main account that holds fixed deposits with the settlement funds not his. So do we need to explain his bank statement?

If the transactions are significantly bigger in amount, then you will have to provide a proof for that, else not required.

If your funds are equal to FUNDS required for PR, then you can ignore his balance details.
If not, then you can add his account details mentioning a consent that you have access to his money.

My account has all the funds needed for settlement and more.
So just to be sure. If I’m not the main applicant, I can give him a consent that he can use my money and we don’t have to show his account?

You will have to get a bank certificate showing funds and a consent letter to prove that your spouse can use all of that money
