I am applying for EE PR for Canada along with my spouse and 2 Dependant childs. As proof of funds i have to show around $23000. but i dont have funds. My brother in law is PR and he can support me financially.

Does he need to send funds to my account? or He can just show funds in his accounts and give letter saying he can support .

What are the ways i can show funds?

The funds must be in your account. You should also get a gift deed. That is a document stating that he is gifting you the money (not loaning it).

Can i use my father's FD as a proof of funds? i am nominee on those FDs.

if needed i can put myself as a joint holder on those fds.

You can only use the funds in yours or your spouses' (if accompanying) FD and not from your father. Also you cannot show proofs from a joint account with your father. If you need to show the FD in your fathers' account , then you have to transfer it to your name and get a gift deed.
