Proof of funds of dependent spouse in German

Dear forum,
My wife is pursuing her PhD in Computer Linguistics at Germany. Her online bank statement, while fairly intuitive, is in German. If we submit this for our FSWP application, should we provide any additional documentation such as a letter in English from branch manager about the balance etc? Does anyone have experience what to do in such a situation?

As I don't have any experience on the particular situation, I would only insist that an English or French translation of any document is a must for submission to CIC.

You should get a translated copy of the bank statement either in English or French, otherwise CIC will not accept it and they might get confused. you can also add the letter from bank manager with the translated copy.
