Hi All,
I got my PNP application rejected because of proof of funds last time .I gave my ppf passbook which showed i had the required 14900 CAD dollar . I have somehow managed this in my saving account this time .

Can anyone confirm
1. From what time i should have this balance (is it 3 months from applying) .Now if i am applying next month i have got this amount this month only then will it be rejected again .
2.if they accept retiral schemes like ppf, mutual funds etc.

What document shall we give as proof of funds - account statement ,bank letter etc.

Thanks in advance

in which province you are applying?? three month mature funds are mostly required to apply pnp

You need to prove that with your bank statement of account. A three months statement shld be good, on official letter head paper of ur bank and duly signed by the bank official printing that out to u. Also try not to make the money look like a borrowed one, transact with the money within the three months in view but let it meet the settlement fund standard before obtaining the statement.

Hello Lakesyde,

Will this delay your application? Because in the SINP application requirement, one has to maintain minimum funds for three months prior to submission
Does this mean that they can request for an update of funds in anoda 3months after submission

Kindly clarify, appreciate your assistance

Ji Jules82,

You need to be very careful with ur POF document when it comes to SINP. If it is MPNP, what they do is to call the bank and confirm if u actually hav the fund when ur file is being treated. But with SINP, its completely different. SINP requires a transferable fund and so they expect you to maintain the balance through out ur application time. Therefore SINP can ask for updated POF even months after you have submitted ur file. A case of that just happened recently and u can confirm that with the link below

YOUR SINP POF MUST MEET THE FLLG CRITERIA:

 The minimum amount must be maintained for at least 3 months prior to submitting your application to the SINP and you are required to maintain these funds throughout the entire immigration process.
 The account(s) must be in the principal applicant or spouse’s name(s) only.
 Account statements must show detailed transaction history.
 Only provide documents for accounts that maintain the minimum required value,
not documents for all financial assets.

Goodluck!

Do we need to maintain funds from the date we filed the EOI application for Novoscotia PNP.??

EOI for Novascotia? from what I understand Novascotia nominee program has 5 categories out which just two (Entrepreneur Stream and international graduate Entrepreneur Stream) require EOI. In anyway, it is better you even maintain the fund prior to submitting ur EOI cos u will have 90 days to submit full application if ur EOI impresses them and you receive ITA. You can't start to build an account during the 90 days grace.

Thanks Lakesyde, truly appreciate your advise, will act accordingly
But another concern is do i send them my updated POF , let say prior to their request {i.e june-aug} in-case i don't hear from them till August,

or will it be a desperate move?

Dear All,

Could anyone help me out with my POF problem.?
I have my fix deposit but having two names, my mother and me.
Can i show this doc as a proof of FOP?

No...That ll definitely show that u are desperate. The truth is that not all applicants are bin asked to send updated POF docs. It depends on their suspicions. Don't send any Document until u are asked to do so.
Best of luck bro!

I don't think so sir. The instruction is so clear The account(s) must be in the principal applicant or spouse’s name(s) only.
