I have a life insurance with METLIFE ALICO (US company) of value $ 12,500/= against which I have already deposited $ 9,200/= in last 8 years. My insurance matures in year 2023.

METLIFE ALICO can give me a slip stating that I have a deposit of amount of $ ~9,200/= (minus some deductions) as premium. Can I show that as proof of fund to CIC?

Funds with Metlife is proved when you show the documents , how about the letter that the funds will be available any time to you before 2023? Canada would be interest to know if the same funds would be available to you when you land in Canada. If the funds are available then it is good POF otherwise it would not be considered as POF.
