Hi guys,

I am almost finished preparing everything to finally submit my application to the EE. I've been reading requirements for proof of funds statements and it says that the money cannot be borrowed.

I have realized that I am in kind of a complicated situation here, as I personally haven't saved enough so far and my parents agreed to give me a rather substantial part of the required funds. Does it qualify as "borrowed" funds, although it comes from a family member?
(The money are not on my account yet and it will certainly be less than 6 months, so they will be able to see the transfer).

Has anyone been in the same situation? What is a possible solution for this?

Thank you.

Get a gift deed. That is a document that states that your parents are gifting you the money and do not expect to get it back from you.

Also, provide proof of transfer.

Thank you! I am really glad that I don't need to wait for another 6 months :)
