Hi Guys,
Please help if you know the solution.

I am planning to get a personal loan from one bank (the principal bank account where a receive my salary). Then I will get that money and give it to my dad. He will transfer that money as a gift deed to my second bank account (where i don't have any loans).

Logically, what they ask for after you receive the PR invitation is a bank statement from the bank where you have the funds. so is there a way they can know that you have a loan in another bank account?

I am not sure if this is a safe thing to do. Can anyone help please?

Hello
They can ask you lastest bank statement and payslips. As it happened with me. They cross checked payslips and bank statements for account in which salary usually credited.

So may be case officer will think that the account you shown have no salary credits in it and then it's high chance they will know that you got another account as your salary goes to certain account not cash. You can never assume things these days with IRCC, they are highly unpredictable.

So be careful what you do.
May b ask your dad to lend you money and when you got ppr you can pay it back by loan or whatever way easy for you.

Hope it helps
Good luck:)

Technically what u r planning to do can be considered as wrongdoings if not misrepresentation. U need to disclose all your debts, credit loans or liabilities irrespective of the account u r using for proof of funds.

Thank you for clarification, but how are they going to know I have a loan with another bank? actually i don't have any other way of getting the money except through a loan. I am stuck

This is clearly misrepresentation.

They can find out by looking at your financial profile. You have a job, but you will show an account that has no regular deposits in it? The obvious inference is that you have another account, and they will start asking questions.

You can get banned for five years for something like this.
