Proof of Funds for Spousal Sponsorship

I am sponsoring my husband who is from the USA using the outland process.

Today we received an email saying that the initial assessment is complete but they require proof of funds from me, the sponsor. I thought this was just for Skilled Worker, but I have no problem providing this.

Any idea on what I am to send? Bank statements?

Did you include the Option C in your original application package and also a letter from your employers confirming your employment and salary?
