Proof of Funds for Non Resident Indians (NRIs)

Hi,

I am in the US for last two years on F1 Visa and now working on my OPT. I have all my funds in my US bank account. Also, my educational loan is in the US. I plan to show the proof of funds only from my US bank account as I dont have any sum in my Indian bank accounts. Is that ok?

Your thoughts on this will be appreciated a lot. Thanks in advance.

Hello to all the members,

I am from India, but I am working in Oman since last 4 years. I have an Nre account in kotak bank India where I remit my monthly salary. I have shown the Nre account for the proof of funds. Will it be okay with CIC?
