Dear All,

Need your help & Suggestion.

I had started my profile in Aug 2015, with initial score of 381, till today, after 3 revisions, My score has reached 398, as of end Nov. I have retaken IELTS and want to build up the POF so that by the time I receive ITA, I have proper history for the financials that is required i.e. $18.5K CAD as family of 3 (Self/Spouse/Child)

Some history, I work/live in Dubai, have accounts in India & UAE & questions:

1. Can I take transfer from parents? to show $18.5K?
2. If I have 2 deposits of $10K+$9K, do I need to show the source of funds
3. a Fixed deposit can work
4. Can you show a fixed asset like property with valuation as proof of funds? And declare that I will sell, once I receive ITA
5. Can income from sale of property be counted

Any other suggestions to build up the POF? I'm worried, looking at the no. of rejections due to financials, therefore trying to be safe in advance.

Looking forward to your response!

Thanks in advance!!

Kind Regards,
SV

1. Can I take transfer from parents? to show $18.5K?
Yes, you can. But, you should provide a valid affidavit. Many posts in this forum discussed about how to do it.

2. If I have 2 deposits of $10K+$9K, do I need to show the source of funds
Source of Funds document is required when you can't show the average balance of six months. Showing funds in two accounts is okay, but both must have the funds consistent for at least 6 months.

3. a Fixed deposit can work
Yes.

4. Can you show a fixed asset like property with valuation as proof of funds? And declare that I will sell, once I receive ITA
No. Anything that cannot be readily liquidated is not accepted (house, gold etc.).

5. Can income from sale of property be counted
Yes. As long as it's your legal money, you sure can show it. If you sold it just recently and cannot show the 6 months average balance, you should provide the source - provide the appropriate proof about the property you sold.
