Hi All,

I know this is a redundant question , but I wanted to know if there is any minimum funds that need I need to show as proof ? I got my ITA under CEC category, and I didn't find any link which says that CEC doesn't need proof of funds

"Unless you are currently authorized to work in Canada and have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada, or you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, you must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada."

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

You do not need to prove a minimum amount of funds.

Cheers ;)

What if my husband has a job offer in Canada and we have a joint account in Canada since 6 to 7 months but I am applying as primary and I do not have a job offer! Will the joint bank statement from our Canadian bank work. We are applying under FSW.

My father has already made an FD equivalent to the required proof of funds on my name, 2 months back but if things could be simpler I would be happy!

1 - They care about you having the funds.

2 - Make sure you have a gift deed from your father.

Cheers ;)
