Hi
I have been accepted into a Canadian University and my tuition fees are $8800. I have an acceptance letter and a confirmation of stipend letter of $17500/year. I have also received a deposit this month of 2 cheques (which are now cleared funds) of $12500. However only this months bank statement together with the stipend will show proof of funds, however they want to see 4 months worth of bank statements. My course starts in Jan 2017. Any advice?

I had the same situation...I placed the amt as fixed deposit and took loan against that FD to show as proof of funds

Why did you have to take the loan out to prove proof of funds, sorry don't quite follow. Thanks again

I didnt think FD was gud option... my gradfather gave me the funds...Although i had scholarship, i had to show som funds domestically
If i place the amt in savings account, then that 4 months stement wont be there to show as I got the money this month
So I deposited the money as FD and took loan against it
