Proof of funds : can joint FD with parents be an option?

just wondering for proof of funds will joint FD with parents or brothers work?

if not what are the other options..

I don't think they'll like anything that can be used by people other than you - who's to say those funds will be there when you need them?

can family members gift some money to the applicant and give an affidavit that the money is applicants now and they will not put any claim, or what else can be done to support this scenario?

No affidavit like that is worth anything -- family members can give you money and you can put it in your bank account, and then it's yours and no one else's. If you want, you could get an affidavit from your family member about the deposit, saying that it is a gift to help you establish yourself in CAnada, that might be useful if someone is worried that your bank account is artificially inflated. But really, the thing that helps the most is simply seeing the required deposit over a period of time, with normal use.
