I received an ITA back in June. I am currently based in the UK. Regarding the Proof of Funds , Banks in the UK normally don't issue any letter to prove financial status (as required by Express Entry).

As an alternative is it acceptable to submit scanned copies of my original bank statement for the last 6months.

Many thanks
Ahmed

Get last 6 month's statement, stamped by Bank with date and add a LOE. you should be good

Dear All
I have a Fixed deposit with a bank. Do i need to break the Fixed Deposit and get the money transferred to my Savings Bank account? OR the FD would be good enough
Also do they check whether the account had the same balance since last 6 months?
Asking the question so that i can transfer this money to the account which is operative from a long time
Pls answer

You don't need to break FD to show as proof of funds. Get the details of FD, when it was opened and the current balance. You need to provide last 6 months bank statement. It's not necessary to have same balance every month but I believe not a huge difference either in each month. If you have multiple accounts, provide last 6 months bank statements from each one of them.

Does the bank statement need to mention the funds equivalence in CAD currency in a seperate letter or LOE?
