Proof of funds - average balance

Hi all,

Something which is confusing me is reading all these posts where people are saying that the average balance over the past 6 months on your bank statement needs to cover the minimum funds requirement. According to my immigration consultant if you can show that today you have sufficient funds that's it. Because average balance could be lower since your account is growing over a period of time.

Please give me your thoughts on this. Thanks.
