Proof of funds at the time of landing

Hi,

I and my family will land in Canada in March 2015. Please if you could let me know that how to show proof of funds to the immigration officer at the time of landing.

They don't always ask you. Some people have experiences where they did ask. I think if they do, its cash or bearer cheque/bank drafts. As for me and my family, the cashier at the airport just asked us the number of the amount funds we were carrying. We told. They didn't ask to check, count or proof.

I was under AINP, they did not ask for proof of funds. They only asked for Canada address to send PR card.

Thanks but I can not take a risk by not having any proof of funds based on presumption that I will not be asked for it.
