Proof of Funds Affidavit or Gift deed

Hello All,

I know this might be a repetitive question on this forum, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

I am currently in Canada and will be receiving funds from my parents who live in India to show as proof of funds. I read most of the topics on this and I guess that is fine as long as I am not borrowing and they are gifting it to me.

But my question is to legalize those funds as mine should I submit any affidavit or gift deed, if so can anyone please provide me the sample format, I have been looking for this for couple of days now, but couldn't find anything.
