Proof of Fund in India

Hi Guys,
I left Canada recently and trying to apply from India. I resigned my job in Canada but the work permit (EMPLOYER SPECIFIC CLOSED) is valid till 2017.
Currently I have around $8000 in my Canadian Bank Accounts . whether I have to show the proof or no need ,since I have a valid status in Canada valid till 2017. if I must show the POF then how much I should maintain. can I show my Indian Bank account balance also with this. ?

You dont have a job in Canada so you need to show pof.
You can show CAD + INR + USD + EURO.. anything.

Do you know how will they check the proof of fund . only by bank statement or they will inquire the bank itself. sorry for the dumb question.

Say I get ITA and I haven't got the the necessary funds in my account. I intend to ask my parents to make transfers to my account from their account after i receive ITA.
I will then take the statements. Is that valid?
