I am an international student to Canada and my visa and passport will expire around 2022.

On my visitor record issued on 2019/8/25, the following conditions are listed:
1 Prohibited from engaging in employment in Canada
2 Prohibited from attending any educational institution and taking any academic, professional or vocational training course
3 Must leave Canada by 2019/08/31
4 Must furnish proof of compliance on 2019/08/31 AT PEARSON B., TERMINAL NO. 1

The 4 conditions are very easy to understand. But DO I HAVE CHANCE TO APPLY FOR ANOTHER VISA without leaving Canada?

I now have a visa of student visa with "category: sx-1"(sx-1 means I can stay for under 6 month)
In the airport, I told the officer I plan to study for one year. However, I did not take the letter of acceptance(LOA) and payment of tuition receipt. Since (1. there was no evidence that I am accepted by a school and (2. my student visa cannot support me to stay over 6 months, I was issued to leave Canada by 2019/8/31.

Now I have had LOA and the receipt, and my mom just got a work permit visa to work in a Canadian university.

Q 1 How could I apply for an extension of a student visa or open work permit with the 4th condition and get the result in a short time, because I do not want to miss the school days.
Q 2 Could I leave Canada and take a flight right back, and tell the officer that I plan to study for 6 months? Also, I have LOA and receipt. But I fear the officer has recorded that I said I plan to study a year.

Thank you for any information about this. I am in high school grade. 12. I cannot afford missing one month from school, because this hurts my mark to apply to universities. I do not have time to apply for another study permit. Please help, thank you sincerely.

You cannot apply for a study permit, work visa, or indeed any visa from inside Canada. You have to leave Canada and reapply. You cannot study in Canada without a valid study permit.

If you don't want to miss school days, you have to return to your home country and start attending school there. There's no way in which you can go to school here with your current lack of documentation.

Thank you for reply. I have a visa : category sx-1 , student, can this work?

No. The visa category doesn't matter. Your study permit was cancelled. The visa remains valid, but your status is not determined by the visa - it's determined by the permit. You didn't get the permit, but the officer gave you a visitor record allowing you to stay for seven days. Once those days are over, you will be staying illegally if you continue to stay in Canada.

If you don't leave Canada by the 31st of August, you will be overstaying your visa and jeopardizing any and all future applications (visa, PR, everything). This is especially because the officer has put a "Proof of compliance" condition. When you fly out, make sure you go to the CBSA office and tell them you're leaving. Don't just leave.

You really need to leave the country while you are still in status.

Thank you I left Canada and then they gave me a extension visa so I would be able to stay. Finally I reenter the border. Everything is settled now.

Glad to hear it. Did they give you a visa at the CBSA office when you were leaving? Or did you apply after leaving?
