Yes, your visit is a very solid proof of communication,
also your transfer is good proof of support that happens within marriage,
Pictures talk by itself about communication, but you need to write an explanation about
each picture that you send.
The airplane tickets will prove communication also.
You have enough material to send them,
just get all organized and give a front page with an explanation of what is the content
in each page.
You need to explain also about the way that you communicate, and present what you have available.

Good luck, it is looking good to me

I had the same problem as you.
I lived with my wife almost the entire time we dated until we got married, 2 years, and we still live together now, so really, we rarely communicate by letter or phone and never lived apart, so there were no visits or proof of visits. We just communicate in person at home, or through text messages. We had chat application messages but I didn't think we needed those because we were not long distance. Plus those text messages were just like "Buy milk", "ok", "see you", "whats for dinner?", etc.

But we received an email from CPC Ottawa stating we needed proof of communication, even though I submitted official government documents saying we lived together.

So I printed off as much Facebook stuff as I could, and as much chat application history as possible. I couldn't get all of it translated into English because that would be thousand and thousands of dollars, over 365 pages, but I got some excerpts printed and translated.

I also mailed the cellphone company we used at the time and asked for a record, but they said they did not have data from that time, they delete data after 3 months. So, I submitted the email communication with the cellphone company to CIC proving at least that I attempted to get this information.

All proof that is helpful should be submitted, along with an explanation letter explaining what is being sent, why it's being sent, or if you can't send it, why you can't send it.

So all your Facetime Audio history, and imessage, must be printed and officially translated into English or French. (maybe expensive but necessary)
And your plane ticket is also very important, maybe you can also re-send photos associated with this visit as well.
The Western union receipts are also good.

Translate everything, write a good explanation letter explaining everything, that is the best option.

If you live together, that request was most likely sent to you by mistake. You should have responded with your common-law proofs stating that since you live together, you communicate in person.

None of the unofficial proofs need to be officially translated; CIC will accept a personal translation. The original untranslated version should be submitted along with the translated version.
